Masaryk University organised a Meeting of Business Platforms of MU and the Regional Chamber of Commerce Brno on 12 October 2022 in the modern coworking centre Clubco Vlněna. The meeting aimed to present the prepared project BioPharm Hub, a unique combination of modern teaching facilities for the Faculty of Pharmacy, cutting-edge research infrastructure of the Preclinical Centre and Molecular Medicine of Masaryk University.
The main topic of the meeting was the presentation of the MUNI BioPharma Hub project and the opportunities offered in connection with it. The event was moderated by Eva Janouškovcová, Director of the MU Centre for Technology Transfer, and Tomáš Kubala, Vice-Chairman of RHK Brno.
MU took another step towards connecting the academic and business worlds. The meeting was attended by nearly a hundred representatives of companies, universities and university spin-off companies. The participants received information on the specific form of the MUNI BioPharma Hub strategic project, which is a unique combination of modern teaching facilities for the Faculty of Pharmacy and the cutting-edge research infrastructure of the preclinical centre and the centre of molecular medicine at Masaryk University.
With the laying of the foundation stone, the construction of the new educational infrastructure of MUNI and the new location of the Faculty of Pharmacy began.
Sunday 28 January 2024, will mark exactly 105 years since the founding of Masaryk University. The second oldest university in the Czech Republic will celebrate the anniversary with a series of events throughout the year.
